The Author
Máire Durkan is the author of Circle of Frith: A Devotional for Frigg (The Troth, 2021), a work praised for integrating theology into practical, communal experience. Her upcoming book, Frigg’s Twelvefold Flame: Creating Justice and Healing with the Goddess & Her Court (Llewellyn Worldwide, 2026), explores how connecting with Frigg and her circle of goddesses can support personal growth, justice, and healing.
Combining rituals, practical tools, and insights from intersectional feminism, her work encourages readers to oppose oppression and reclaim personal autonomy. Máire is an ordained godswoman, clergy coordinator for The Troth, and also serves her community as a certified birth doula and hospital chaplain
