Transformation Through Release

Walking along the edge of a meadow yesterday late afternoon, I paused to admire a browned milkweed pod with delicate cracks. Its silky seeds unfurled and floated on the breeze, like visible light. What was once confined and hidden gained form in motion. The seeds didn't fight against the air; instead, they lifted into it, letting the unseen force carry them forward.
This is how it is for us: when we open up and reveal what's inside, stopping our grip on old fears or patterns, and let change happen naturally. When the moment is right, there's grace in this surrender, bringing beauty and transformation through release.
Transformation isn't about becoming something else, but about having the courage to open up and let something beautiful and delicate within us—such as an intention, aspiration, emotion, or creation—be carried to where it needs to go.
